Sean M. Cooper

Sean M. Cooper is a solo attorney practicing health law in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Sean graduated cum laude from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg, Pa. in May 2015. Prior to attending law school, Sean obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sean is an effective advocate who is passionate about the law and helping clients reach their legal goals. While Sean primarily serves clients in the medical profession, he has experience with a number of areas of law. Sean is particularly interested in technology, intellectual property (Copyright and Trademarks), and US constitutional law. Additionally, he has assisted clients with matters involving Wills, Trusts and Estates, Criminal, and Pennsylvania Public Utility law.

In law school, he participated in Widener Commonwealth's Civil Law Clinic where he gained valuable experience as a student attorney in the areas of landlord/tenant, consumer debt relief, bankruptcy, and unemployment. Sean also clerked for several organizations during law school, including the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania, and The Keller Law Firm. While at Widener, Sean served as the Technology Secretary of the Commonwealth Law School Student Bar Association. From 2014 to 2015, he served as the Chair of the Copyright Subcommittee of the Law Student Action Group of the American Bar Association’s Section of Intellectual Property Law. In 2013, Sean was named as Best Oral Advocate in his legal research, writing, and advocacy section. In 2015, he received the Bruce M. & Elizabeth M. Monroe Intellectual Property Scholarship.
