Local police department officer in small town of Navarro County seized $6,000 plus dollars from my client based on suspected criminal activity surrounding large amount of cash. Peterson had two traffic ... ticket warrants out of Dallas area and was arrested. No drugs, contraband, links, etc were found in vehicle. I answered the civil suit filed bt District Attorney and requested return of money in hearing to which DA disagreed and refused stating I should use replevin bond. I filed replevin bond and motion to dissolve writ of sequestration of funds. DA non-suited the case and returned the money that same day. My client is brother to NFL running back Adrian Peterson.
