Chapter 13 case
Sep 05, 2011OUTCOME: Husband lost job and case was converted to Chapter 7. Client's had almost paid off the vehicles, the arrears on the mortgages were caught up, and all unsecured debt will be discharged.
Client's had 3 mortgages on their home, and also a large amount of unsecured debt (credit cards) I was able to get a Plan approved that wiped away the 2nd and 3rd mortgages on the home, and the clients ... would pay only a portion of their credit card debt over 5 years. At the end of the Plan they would have only had a 1st mortgage, the cars would be paid off, and all unsecured debt would be gone.
