Practice areas concentrate on all matters of real estate litigation, banking litigation, foreclosure and contract negotiation. As the oil and gas industry's interest has increased in Pennsylvania, my practice has grown significantly towards defending the rights of property owners in eminent domain actions, as well as contract negotiations with the oil and gas companies to ensure property owners are fully indemnified for potential accidents, the beauty of their property is preserved for the future, and the property owner receives the absolute best compensation that can be negotiated for the use of their land. Currently, I have been dealing regularly with Sunoco Logistics on the Sunoco Mariner East Pipeline projects, the Adephia Gateway Pipeline, the Columbia Gas pipelines, as well as assisting homeowners with condemnation issues associated with the Lower Perkiomen Valley Sewer Authority sewer expansion project. I have significant experience in the area of eminent domain, as a pipeline lawyer, dealing with pipelines and their associated easements. I also represent those who are impacted by rail expansion and highway expansion.
Prior to my current employment, I practiced in Southern Florida working with large international financial lending institutions handling creditor’s rights issues and all stages of the foreclosure process, including both commercial and residential litigation. I am experienced in the areas of commercial litigation, community association law, landlord/tenant issues and construction litigation, spending several years representing large general contractors, developers, and subcontractors. While obtaining my J.D. degree in San Diego, CA, I was fortunate to study Comparative Constitutional Law in Nice, France under the direction of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I am a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and admitted to the Florida Bar and District of Columbia Bar.
In my spare time, I volunteer as the 6th District Leader for the Humane Society of the United States, working with local area shelters, nonprofits and with Pennsylvania House and Senate officials to draft local ordinances and lobby for enacting important state and nationwide legislation for the protection and betterment of the lives of all animals.
