Copeland appealed the trial court's turnover order granting the appointment of a post judgment receiver. Copeland argued there was insufficient evidence for the appointment, and that a bond was requir ... ed. The court of appeals in Fort Worth disagreed. The court found Bluebonnet represented by Niermann Law Firm had ample evidence in the form of deemed admissions and affidavits stating Copeland owned property subject to turnover. Bonds are not required by the turnover statute. The trial court did not abuse its discretion in signing the turnover order.
