I Will Stand Beside You
I am James R. Freeman, Esq., I am a sole practitioner who focuses on criminal defense and family law. For more than 40 years, I have been practicing law in Phoenixville Pennsylvania, Chester County and the surrounding area.
I served as a Chester County prosecutor for 14 years, and during four of those years I was Chester County's first full-time district attorney.
I advocate strongly for my clients, and I do it for a reason: in criminal and family law matters, people's lives andfutures are at stake. If you have been charged with a crime, it is you against the government. You absolutely need someone who is able to meet that challenge and not back down. When your life is on the line, you deserve a lawyer who will stand up for you and your interests.
I have represented clients in thousands of cases, and I take pride in what I do. My reputation precedes me: I am relentless in my efforts to obtain the best possible result for my clients.
I Make Prosecutors Earn It
When I am defending clients in criminal matters, I do not give prosecutors anything. If they are going to get a conviction, I make them earn it. When you retain my services, I will be the one standing beside you. You can rest assured I will do everything in my power to guide you safely through the criminal or civil maze that may be confronting you.
Why I Still Practice Law
I earned my bachelor's degree from Dickinson College in 1966 and my law degree from The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle in 1969. If you want to know why I still practice law after so many years, the answer is simple: I care deeply about what I do, and I truly enjoy helping people.
