Stephen M. Howard

Stephen Howard is both an attorney and CPA. He is licensed to paractice law and accounting in PA and NJ. In addition to his law degree from Temple University in Philadelphis, he also holds a Masters Degree in Taxation from the Fox School of Business Administration of the same instituion. He is a former instructor at Penn State University where he taught courses in real estate and elder law.  He specializes in tax law, real estate, commercial litigation, bankruptcy and estate planning and administration.  His financial and tax background provides a strong base for his estate  planning and tax compliance practice. He also uses his financial background to assist clients in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate and business matters. He has litigated many business and commercial cases with an emphasis on shareholder and partner disputes and separations. His accounting background allows him to  work closely with CPA's, appraisers and economists in resolving these matters. He has also litigated estate accountings, surcharge hearings, will contests and guardianships in the probate courts. He has represented many clients before the United States Tax Court and in audit proceedings before the IRS, the Pa Department of Revenue and the NJ Division of Taxation. He brings a high level of  financial and tax expertise to his cases and applies it consistently for the benefit of his clients.
