Kevin M McGrath

As a member of Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin’s Business Law Department, Kevin McGrath represents a wide array of business clients, each with distinct issues, needs, and goals. From formation to acquisition and all matters in between, Kevin’s practice covers nearly every facet of business ownership and management. His work includes structuring and implementing transactions, drafting complex agreements, and advising business owners on how best to address various legal issues. Kevin’s background as a commercial litigator affords him a unique perspective that his clients find invaluable.

Prior to attending law school, Kevin served as a corps member for Teach For America, a nonprofit organization that places high-achieving college graduates into low-income classrooms. Through TFA, Kevin earned his teacher certification and was employed full-time as a middle-school teacher in the Houston Independent School District. He remains passionate about education and volunteers his time as a member of the Literacy Council of Norristown’s Board of Directors and Vice Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Liberty and Law Civics Education Program. Kevin also provides pro bono legal services to child victims of abuse, neglect, and trafficking through his work with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. He later attended the Villanova University School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2015. At Villanova, Kevin served as an Associate Editor for the Villanova Law Review and a student attorney for the school’s Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic. He also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
