My client's Immigration Court proceeding was successfully terminated by the Immigration Judge. She is an 82 year old woman who was placed in deportation proceedings for having abandoned her green card ... status. We were able to show that the Judge that, although she had been outside of the United States for 7 years, that she never intended to abandon her green card, and that the special circumstances in the case warranted termination of the case. Our client and her family were overjoyed at the outcome.
