Chapter 13 case where tax certificate holders were claiming that they were due pre and post petition interest with interest accruing independent of the bankruptcy filing on the entire balance up until ... the last penny was paid. We ended up winning on an unpublished un-appealed decision. Now tax certificates get paid based on the allowed claim with post-petition interest only on the unpaid principal balance.

The appellant was arguing that trusts could own real property and therefore would have standing to defend a foreclosure action and to bring and prosecute a counterclaim. We won, arguing that the trust ... had no such standing under Ohio law at the time the agreement was entered into.
