2016 A Successful trial at U.S. District for Northern District of Ohio
Nov 10, 2016OUTCOME: Plaintiffs receive not only compensatory damage, but also punitive damage and attorney fees. The jury also agreed to the piercing of the corporate veil of 3 defendant companies and holding their owner personally responsible for the damage.
Three Plaintiffs representing a class of 140 investors sued 8 business entities and their owner for a real estate fraud. The class certification was denied but the trial was successful.
