OUTCOME: Continued for Dismissal
Our client was charged with domestic assault and we were able to obtain a continuance for dismissal resolution.
OUTCOME: Dismissed
My client was charged with Criminal Vehicular Injury in Becker County Minnesota in 2018. The state alleged that he drove an ATV while impaired and caused an accident, injuring his passenger. We complet ... ed a comprehensive investigation, including using a private investigator who used to be a sheriff's deputy focused on investigating vehicular accidents. We also used an accident reconstructionist, who determined that our client was not operating the ATV during the accident. We filed a probable cause challenge and litigated the matter in court. As the state's deadline approached, they dismissed the case.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client was on probation for a felony out of state. After being placed on probation in his home state, my client voted in the general election. He was charged with being an ineligible voter who knowi ... ngly voted. We argued that he did not know that he was precluded from voting, and secured an acquittal.
OUTCOME: Dismissed
When my client's vehicle was unlawfully searched by police officers, I was able to get the results of the search suppressed, and her case was then dismissed.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client was accused of assaulting his girlfriend at their residence. A careful investigation of the alleged crime scene helped us show a jury that my client was not guilty.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client was charged with six counts of attempted murder. He was identified by one of the alleged victims as being a shooter in a home invasion. I was able to show that the identification was motivate ... d by a dislike of my client, and also show that the identification was inconsistent with other essential facts. After a 6 day trial, the jury found my client not guilty in 90 minutes.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client was accused of 3rd and 4th degree criminal sexual conduct. We took the case to trial and the jury acquitted him of both counts.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client made a left turn on a two-lane highway. Two motorcyclists ran into her from the right. One died. The state determined that my client had been texting prior to the accident. I brought in an ex ... pert who synchronized the GPS data and her text messages and determined that her last text was more than a full minute before the accident, and that she was in a different location. After a six-day trial, the jury found my client NOT guilty of all felonies.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty
My client was charged with 1st degree burglary, felony terroristic threats, felony domestic abuse, and 5th degree assault. A jury found acquitted him on all four charges.
