OUTCOME: The minerals were properly transferred and the royalty payments resumed.

I worked with a family that had mineral rights in western North Dakota. The oil company was initially paying royalties but when the leases were sold to a new company, the company held funds in suspens ... e until the mineral rights were properly transferred. The Minerals required multiple cascading probates in order to clear title to the mineral interests to the proper parties which was several descendant's across the country and in other international location.
