Client was granted DACA status in 2013. When his elderly grandmother became ill in 2015, we solicited advanced parole so that Client could be with his grandmother during her illness. This was the fir ... st time that Client had seen his grandmother in over 15 years. Upon his return from Mexico, Client and his United States citizen wife filed for Client's Adjustment of Status with USCIS. After a quick interview 5 months later, Client is now a Lawful Permanent Resident and can visit his grandmother much more often!
