Tyler Cole Bartholomew

Tyler is part of the Saxton & Stump Franchising, Licensing and Distribution, Business and Corporate and Tax and Tax Controversy groups working with corporate clients. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a degree in business administration and an accounting major. He used his business and accounting degree while at the Duquesne University School of Law, working for Deloitte Tax LLP. Tyler was a tax consultant at the company’s Pittsburgh office, where he worked on tax returns for individuals, trusts, and corporations.

He stayed on at Deloitte after graduating from law school before transitioning to a senior associate tax position at KPMG’s Salt Lake City office. At KPMG, Tyler trained team members on project work, determined the tax liability of transactions, and prepared and reviewed state tax returns for corporate and partnership entities.

He also worked as a legal intern at a law firm specializing in healthcare law where he conducted legal research to improve law firm policies and hospital bylaws, reviewed documents and case law to assist attorneys serving clients in all 50 states, and summarized court decisions for publication in a weekly client newsletter.
