Kevin M McKenna

Kevin M. McKenna is the Chairman of the Education and Environmental practice groups. He primarily practices in the area of charter schools and education law. Mr. McKenna represents numerous schools throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Under his guidance, Latsha Davis & McKenna.'s client schools have had continuing success in cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Commonwealth Court, Courts of Common Pleas, and the State Charter School Appeal Board (CAB). The Firm has also represented charter schools which had cases of first impression before the many courts. The Firm is general counsel for the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools. The Firm has also been involved in tax-exempt financing transactions for charter schools throughout the State of Pennsylvania. Mr. McKenna regularly speaks at educational forums across the country on topics such as ethics in law and the responsibilities of public school Boards and has served as an adjunct professor at Penn State University. He also practices environmental Superfund and toxic tort litigation, sports law, workers' compensation defense, premises liability defense, and insurance defense.
