Steven George Bardsley

A former engineer, now lawyer, who has been solving – and preventing - legal problems for construction and design professionals for 21 years.

Drawing on both engineering and litigation experience, I have zealously represented clients at all levels of the legal system from arbitration to state and federal courts. My goal is to remove you from legal action completely in cases where you were sued for no reason other than being identified on a title block. When that isn’t possible, I help you create a strategy that will minimize exposure.

I am an aggressive advocate for a broad spectrum of design and construction professionals, and have worked closely with most of the construction related insurance carriers. My clients include:

I have successfully litigated cases ranging from residential construction disputes and trip and fall personal injury claims to multi-million dollar claims involving both partial and total building collapse, fire, construction delays, catastrophic personal injury and death.

A portion of my practice is devoted to counseling construction professionals in preparing and negotiating contract documents and I am often asked to advise clients when problems arise during a project.

I am a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Institute of Architects and am licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
