For over a decade, Maria Bermudez has stood at the forefront of disability law, dedicating her career to securing Social Security and long-term disability benefits for those unable to work due to their conditions. As the founder of the Disability Advocacy Group, she has skillfully navigated administrative proceedings and federal courts, representing thousands and making significant strides in the realm of disability law.

Before embarking on her journey to establish her own practice, Maria garnered invaluable experience as an attorney advisor for the federal government and honed her expertise within the disability departments of two leading law firms. Her deep-rooted connection to Philadelphia, coupled with her innovative embrace of a technology-driven, remote practice, has allowed her to extend her reach and impact, even after relocating to San Juan, Puerto Rico, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
