A family member of the deceased was trying to take large portions of the estate and not share them with the other beneficiaries of the will. We stopped that from happening and made sure that the decea ... sed's wishes, as written in the will, were respected and honored.

Client's husband passed away. Most family property, including home and family business, were owned solely by deceased husband. At the time he died, the husband had a significant number of creditors, ... some of which had liens on the family home and business property. The client was very concerned about losing the business and her home. We believe in finding better ways to to solve probate problems, and are always looking for them. In this case, our firm was able to successfully eliminate or drastically reduce creditor claims by negotiation and actions in the Probate Court so that our client was able to keep both the home and the business.

How would you feel if your parent passed away and some of your siblings tried to leave you out of the estate? That is exactly what happened to this client. The client had a large family with eight ... siblings, and three of them tried to leave the remaining five out of their parent's estate. We did not think it was right for five siblings to be left out of the estate, so we took the case. After causing all parties to take DNA testing and fighting in the probate court, we were able to force all parties to accept our client's claim as an heir. We ended up settling the claim through negotiation and all legitimate children were included in the estate.

We were able to help the client navigate the probate court and settle the estate quickly and efficiently so that all of the property was transferred to her name. The best thing about this case is that we were able to take the entire burden of the probate away from her, have our firm manage the estate, and reduce her stress and anxiety during one of the worst times in her life. I believe that is a better way to go through the probate process, and that is why I do what I do.
