I contacted this attorney’s office about an employment-based immigration matter for one of my employees. As a business owner, I was trying to explain the situation and determine whether he could help. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. Instead of asking clarifying questions, Mr. Mar...onski repeatedly told me I “didn’t know what I was talking about,” spoke in a condescending manner, and seemed frustrated that I was not using specific legal terminology. When I offered to have the employee explain the situation directly, he declined. I calmly asked that he speak to me more respectfully. He responded that if I did not like the way he spoke, he did not want my business and ended the call. I understand that attorneys handle complex matters and have demanding schedules, but professionalism and courtesy are important. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this attorney to business owners seeking immigration-related guidance. No potential client should be spoken to in a degrading or dismissive manner simply for asking questions and seeking legal assistance.
