Seattle Lawyer John Crowley announced that the Yakima trial of Kurt Bonser, charged with attempted first degree murder, is expected to begin on Monday January 30, 2012. Mr. Bonser is alleged to have ... beaten his girlfriend and then attempting to drive his car over her as she laid on the pavment after allegedly first beating her with a basketball sized rock. He was shot with a rifle by a bystander after Mr. Bonser allegedly jumped into his vehicle, and then threw the vehicle in drive and began to roll over her. Mr. Bonser adamantly denies the allegations and states that he was shot as he tried to leave the area after an argument between he and a former girlfriend.
