Claudio John DiPaolo

Claudio J. DiPaolo, Chair of Rawle & Henderson’s Workers’ Compensation Section, has been engaged in defense litigation with a concentration in workers’ compensation matters for over 15 years. He has successfully defended workers’ compensation claims on behalf of self-insured corporations. Additionally, he has handled employment matters, including counseling clients in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York regarding compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.

He has handled a wide variety of injury based litigation matters including commercial motor vehicle, products liability, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Additionally, he has handled commercial, employment and insurance coverage matters. He has counseled clients on a broad range of employment issues in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York regarding compliance with federal, state and local laws and reducing workers’ compensation liability for workplace injuries.

He was formerly employed by large national and regional law firms and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where he drafted administrative law decisions involving adjudicated workers' compensation matters and assisted in the editing of the treatise, D. Torrey and A. Greenberg, Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation: Practice and Procedure. He has spoken on workers' compensation topics throughout the country and has written extensively on workers' compensation law.

He earned a J.D. degree from the Widener University School of Law in 1993. He is admitted to practice in the states of Pennsylvania and New York as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
