review

I went to this office for consultation which is free per website and I was informed free consultation over the phone . I initially spoke with Jay Cksyman for maybe 40 mins or so. Remind you part of the conversation was about William Penn filing bankruptcy etc. Which took of part of my free consultati...on. So after pondering the idea of bankruptcy I called back the next day and decided against filing after realizing I didn't have that much debt and I could work things out with my creditors. Well Jenkins and Clayman refuses to refund my $300 retainer. They didn't to anything for me but talk and took my $300 . They kept setting me up conference calls to convince me to file and each time I said no can I have the retainer back. This has been going on for a month.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Censure issued in NJ, 2006

updated on 12/16/2009

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the State did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
