Sharon L. Steingard

I am a partner at the law firm of Willig, Williams & Davidson. I concentrate my practice in all aspects of Estate Law, including estate planning and the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and living wills as well as estate administration, guardianships and other Orphan's Court Litigation. I am a member of the firm’s Legal Services Department. My practice aslo includes representation of individuals in personal injury, consumer, and other civil litigation matters. I have appeared in trial courts in Philadelphia and all of its surrounding counties and have successfully argued before the Commonwealth, Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania.

I have provided legal services to members of the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers since the 1979 inception of the Prepaid Legal Service Plan. Since joining Willig, Williams & Davidson I have represented thousands of union members who enjoy the benefit of a pre-paid legal services plan. I consider it a privilege to assist workers and other individuals who, without prepaid legal services, could lack access to quality legal representation.

In addition to representing workers and other individuals, I serve as an arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. I also present seminars on estate planning to groups such as the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 13.

I earned my juris doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 1975 and my bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in 1972.
