Robert N. Braker

Robert N. Braker is a personal injury attorney who focuses on complex motor vehicle accident, trucking accident, motorcycle accident, pedestrian accident, liquor liability and premises liability cases in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Mr. Braker heads Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky's motor vehicle accident and premises liability groups. He has successfully handled more than a thousand of these cases and secured numerous settlements and verdicts worth hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars for SMBB clients. Many of these cases have involved confidential settlements. Examples of Mr. Braker's publicly disclosed settlements include:

• $2.65 million settlement for a motorcyclist permanently disabled with a brain injury, back and nerve pain and vision problems after a commcercial vehicle swerved into her turnpike lane

   

• $1.55 million settlement for a postal worker catastrophically injured when his stationary car was rear-ended by a gas company van

 Education, Experience and Training

 Mr. Braker's concern for the rights of victims is still greatly influenced by his father, Herbert Braker, a practicing personal injury attorney for more than 50 years prior to his retirement in 2002. In addition to the extraordinary "informal" legal education he received from his father, Mr. Braker is a graduate of Duke University and holds a law degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law (1991). His association with Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky began as a clerk in 1989 while attending law school and he joined the firm following graduation. Mr. Braker became a partner in 2002.
