Jon D. Marans

Jon Marans' corporate practice includes representation of publicly-registered and privately-held business entities and business owners in various business transactions. Our clients are located throughout the US and internationally. Representative matters include mergers and acquisitions; business finance and investment-related matters; purchases, sales and licensing of intellectual property and other assets; entity formation and governance and drafting various other business-related agreements and documents. Jon is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We associate with other specialists and local counsel as necessary, depending on the specific issues our clients face and the jurisdictions where they must be addressed.

Jon is an active member of his community. He has volunteered pro-bono legal and non-legal services to various civic and community organizations throughout the tri-state area. Jon has served on various charity boards in addition to his service to various business, trust and other entity boards. In addition to his community activities, Jon has participated in multiple educational presentations, including lecturing entrepreneurs on corporate structure, asset protection, mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions and legal issues. Jon resides in Philadelphia with his wife, two children and Heidi and Lois, the family dog and resident feline. Jon received his Juris Doctor degree from Villanova Law School, Magna Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He received his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University with High Distinction and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
