Biography
Joel Feller is a founding partner of Ross Feller Casey, LLP, one of the nation’s leading personal injury law firms.
He has devoted his entire legal career of three decades to representing those catastrophically injured by the negligence of others and has obtained stunning, record-setting results in all types of personal injury lawsuits.
His unyielding commitment to his clients has resulted in nearly $1 billion in recoveries in litigation involving medical malpractice, brain injuries, amputations, dangerous products and premises, motor vehicle accidents, and sexual and physical abuse.
His long list of major cases includes:
- $30 million for a young girl paralyzed by a defective lap belt
- $18 million in a bad-faith insurance case
- $16 million for an infant who suffered a severe infection
- $15 million in a case involving a uterine rupture
- $14 million in a case involving the mismanagement of labor
- $11 million for injuries sustained at a trampoline park
- $9.75 million for injuries suffered in a school van crash

Feller has a distinguished record of success in the highly specialized area of birth injury litigation, with some of the region's largest result.
His handling of birth injury cases alone has resulted in verdicts and settlements of over $200 million for families of injured children.
Feller earned nationwide media attention for his successful representation of numerous sexual assault victims of Jerry Sandusky, a former football coach at Penn State. Feller and Ross Feller Casey litigated more claims in the case than any other firm and were the driving force in striking the eventual $60 million global settlement with the university.

Originally from Hazleton, Pa., Feller earned his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
