Jody Joy

Jody Joy is an associate with the firm and focuses her practice exclusively on Pennsylvania workers' compensation law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Joy was an associate with boutique defense firms handling workers' compensation litigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey for insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured parties. Ms. Joy also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Craig Wellerson, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division in Burlington County, New Jersey. Ms. Joy is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In 2003, Ms. Joy earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of the Women's Law Caucus, the Student Bar Association and performed pro bono legal work for domestic violence victims as part of the Delaware Civil Clinic. She earned her B.S. degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998. She is fluent in Malayalam.

Presently, Ms. Joy is currently an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Division, Minority Bar Committee, and Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, South Asian Bar Association, Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and Pennsylvania Association of Justice Workers' Compensation Section.
