James E. Colleran

In over forty-five years of practice, Mr. Colleran has tried well over 150 major civil trials to verdict. While most of those trials were in Philadelphia, he has also tried complete cases in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton and Schuylkill counties.

Mr. Colleran has also tried civil cases to verdict in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. In addition to that he has also tried and won a major civil case in the Supreme Court of New York in Manhattan.

Over the last twenty years, Mr. Colleran has predominantly represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases but continues to represent injured plaintiffs in general personal injury matters and product liability cases. 

As a result of his extraordinary achievements, Mr. Colleran has been a frequent faculty member and lecturer at many Continuing Legal Educations courses and seminars over the years, including those sponsored by PBI, and the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers organizations.
