What An Awesome Experience

I didn't know where to turn because it was my first time being in trouble like this. I found Attorney Glassman through a Google search and I must say that my selection was a great one. From the very start when I contacted his offices; he called me back himself and made it more personable. He assured ...me that he could help me. He made time to meet with me while he was at the courthouse representing someone else which was exceptional. Once we met he "assured me" that he could get me in the ARD program. He worked tirelessly in my case and he did just that. I was admitted into the ARD program and I have no charges. It was an exceptional experience.... I would recommend him hands down to anyone!!!! Thank you soooo very much!

Need a first-rate, dedicated, and tenacious lawyer? Hire David Glassman!

If it was not for David Glassman, I would not be where I am today. David not only represented my case with committed drive and success, but made me recognize my ability to take on endeavors I never thought possible. By giving me a second chance, and fighting for my innocence, I was able to accomplish... goals that never would have been attainable if David did not protect my rights. David's reliable and trusting demeanor was apparent throughout my whole experience with him. His ability to keep me informed and updated with my case allowed my family and I to feel comfortable and at ease. Recognizing David's understanding and mastering of the law, my confidence and trust was with him, never did I question his ability. As a young kid when I first met David, my naive and inane decision-making led to bad decisions. David did not judge or critique my character, instead he listened and was supportive to my needs and emotional state, which was at a low point. He did all he could to make sure that I had a second chance in life, and he has turned my life around. To this day, my family and I still stay in touch with David. He has become a family friend and someone I will always value as a lawyer, and most importantly a person. We always refer to David to anyone in need of legal council, and would never recommend anyone else. Honestly, you would be foolish not to hire David as your lawyer, he is the best around!

The BEST Lawyer

I am a past client of Attorney Glassman's and would highly recommend him to anyone who is need of an attorney. Not only is Attorney Glassman a very smart and hard working lawyer but he is also very caring and concerned about his clients. He is always available to talk and constantly kept me updated w...ith the progress of my case. He was even available for discussions after business hours. Attorney Glassman was extremely savvy and insightful and settled matters favorably. I highly respect and recommend Attorney Glassman to anyone who finds themselves in a legal predicament.

Service and legal strategies that exceed all others...

I knew David Glassman and his wife through a business that I had in which they were customers. I knew David was a criminal lawyer and not having such needs, never consulted him for legal advise. One Saturday, he and his wife came into my establishment and while speaking, said I “seemed troubled” by... something. His observations were correct, as silently, I had been in the midst of a civil suit where someone was suiting me…frivolously. He offered to listen, though this was not his arena. They drove home and he reappeared an hour later and offered to go to a nearby coffee shop for what I thought might be twenty minutes. Three hours later he told me he had a strategy! In those three hours, he had absorbed the entire case better than my own attorneys…a large Philly firm, who were billing me tremendous amounts of money and in my opinion, doing very little. To make a long story short, David offered to intervene. Months later, he had not only intervened, but he put a stop to my own, large Philly firm when their bills became outrageous and they tried to go after me to collect these ridiculous fees…with much of their billing having been bogus. He put them in “checkmate” and I never had to pay them another dime. I finally felt I had my life back and for payment, he made arrangements for me that were most helpful, allowing me to remain honorable and feel whole again. David Glassman is someone I would recommend highly to anyone for most any case HE thinks he can tackle. He seems to have a photographic memory and comes up with strategies that are above and beyond all others. I only wished I had found him four years earlier!!! In short, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Unethical and self-serving

I retained this attorney to review my case. He talked about how great he is as he continued feed his own ego with self-praise. I provided a list of questions to be answered. When I asked for a response, not only did he not answer them, he was combative, rude and hostile. Instead of being honest and f...orthcoming, he berates you. David jay Glassman and his narcissistic attitude encompasses how “you” as the client are at fault instead of giving balanced insight. He hardly lets you speak and continues to enthrall himself with his greatness. Find another attorney! Humility goes a long way!

This client's review presents an opportunity to address what you should expect when contacting me. I often get calls from individuals who are already being represented and question the advise from their present lawyer, or who have received a bad result and want to see whether something can be done to correct it. Most of these individuals are seeking a truthful response; however, there are a few who, despite their representations to the contrary, only want to hear what they want you to say. When this happens a lawyer has two options: (1) Take the easy way out, tell your client what they want to hear and make he or she feel good; or, (2) Give the client an honest assessment of their options and advise them of their best course of action to achieve their goals. Sometimes, this means telling your client what they don't want to hear and risking the fact that they will get angry, make unfounded accusations, and write a negative review about your services. The choice for me is not difficult. I have seen the results of other criminal lawyers who take the path of least resistance and tell the respective clients whatever is necessary to either generate a fee or avoid having to explain what the truth of their situation really is. In one case, a defense lawyer's refusal to confront his client with the reality of her situation cost her an additional 15 years in prison. During my review of that matter, when asked why their daughter took action that was entirely without any merit, the response was always the same: "We trusted what the lawyer told us to do." Finally, the author of this review is angry because rather than seek to undermine her present lawyer's advice, I concurred with his assessment of the case. In short, with few exceptions, when clients profess their innocence but refuse the opportunity to take their case to trial, they become disgruntled when their lawyer cannot provide them with a 3rd Option, when the fact is, there is none. That is why this client has agreed (along with her present lawyer) to follow the advice she was given by me. Making sure a client does what's in their best interests, while not always popular, is more important to me as a Criminal Defense Lawyer, than guaranteeing a good review. Thank you for your consideration of my response. David Jay Glassman, Esquire
