Phenomenal Lawyer!!!

I reached out to this lawyer after reading reviews and I decided to give him a call to tell him my situation. Currently I’m in a very bad situation with the current attorney that I’ve hired for my fiancé. The current attorney not only was taking my money but not doing any work on the case which resul...ted in my fiancé being stuck in a county jail without being sentenced for years. I desperately needed advice/consultation from another lawyer. Every attorney that I spoke to either wanted an astronomical amount of money just to listen to my situation in full detail or they just weren’t interested in listening at all. But Mr. Glassman called me back and took the time to listen to everything I was going threw in full detail!! He gave me some advice on how to handle the situation and it worked!!! Because of Mr. Glassman’s advice My fiancé is now in the process to be sentenced after waiting so long. I want to thank you Mr. Glassman!!! To be good at your profession means you have to enjoy what you do. It’s not always about financial gain, sometimes it’s about being a good person that wants to help people. Mr.Glassman did quote me a price for his services but did not pressure me to think the only way my issue would be fixed is to pay him. I prefer to speak with an attorney that is confident and knowledgeable about his work and no one should ever confuse confidence with cocky. if anyone is looking for a straight forward HONEST attorney that has extensive experience and knows the system and the people that have worked or is still working in the system to help you get threw your situation correctly without getting the run around then Mr. Glassman is your man! Thanks again Mr. Glassman for all your help.

Hire this man

Mr. Glassman represented me in March of 2018 on charges of felony possession of marijuana and suspected LSD. I am a recent college graduate and had never had a run in with the law prior to my arrest. I was absolutely terrified and despondent; I was certain I was going to jail. Mr. Glassman immedi...ately put me at ease. He spoke with me over the phone for more that 30 minutes before I even hired him in order to advise me about my case. He is incredibly responsive to emails and always gets back to me immediately with any questions that I have. During our first meeting, we spoke for close to two hours. In addition to getting the details about the circumstances of my arrest, he took the time to get to know me, learn about my personal history, and make me feel less like a criminal and more like a person. During my hearing, Mr. Glassman operated like the seasoned professional he is. He spoke with the prosecutor before I ever stood in front of the judge, and the two of them worked out a deal that exonerated me completely of my charges, granted I pay a fine to the state of New Jersey. I cannot stress this enough: Mr. Glassman got me off of THREE felony charges in one of the toughest districts in New Jersey when it comes to drug violations. The process was as painless as it could have possibly been, and I have been able to move forward in my life with no consequences. Mr. Glassman is a phenomenal lawyer and a good person. I would recommend him to anyone who ever needs legal representation in New Jersey.

Unethical and self-serving

I retained this attorney to review my case. He talked about how great he is as he continued feed his own ego with self-praise. I provided a list of questions to be answered. When I asked for a response, not only did he not answer them, he was combative, rude and hostile. Instead of being honest and f...orthcoming, he berates you. David jay Glassman and his narcissistic attitude encompasses how “you” as the client are at fault instead of giving balanced insight. He hardly lets you speak and continues to enthrall himself with his greatness. Find another attorney! Humility goes a long way!

This client's review presents an opportunity to address what you should expect when contacting me. I often get calls from individuals who are already being represented and question the advise from their present lawyer, or who have received a bad result and want to see whether something can be done to correct it. Most of these individuals are seeking a truthful response; however, there are a few who, despite their representations to the contrary, only want to hear what they want you to say. When this happens a lawyer has two options: (1) Take the easy way out, tell your client what they want to hear and make he or she feel good; or, (2) Give the client an honest assessment of their options and advise them of their best course of action to achieve their goals. Sometimes, this means telling your client what they don't want to hear and risking the fact that they will get angry, make unfounded accusations, and write a negative review about your services. The choice for me is not difficult. I have seen the results of other criminal lawyers who take the path of least resistance and tell the respective clients whatever is necessary to either generate a fee or avoid having to explain what the truth of their situation really is. In one case, a defense lawyer's refusal to confront his client with the reality of her situation cost her an additional 15 years in prison. During my review of that matter, when asked why their daughter took action that was entirely without any merit, the response was always the same: "We trusted what the lawyer told us to do." Finally, the author of this review is angry because rather than seek to undermine her present lawyer's advice, I concurred with his assessment of the case. In short, with few exceptions, when clients profess their innocence but refuse the opportunity to take their case to trial, they become disgruntled when their lawyer cannot provide them with a 3rd Option, when the fact is, there is none. That is why this client has agreed (along with her present lawyer) to follow the advice she was given by me. Making sure a client does what's in their best interests, while not always popular, is more important to me as a Criminal Defense Lawyer, than guaranteeing a good review. Thank you for your consideration of my response. David Jay Glassman, Esquire

Best criminal lawyer

I was charged in Philadelphia with Aggravated Assault & Endangering the Welfare of my child. Having never been charged with a crime I was referred by my brother to Mr. Glassman. He arranged to meet me after work and explained to me the process and how he would defend me. He made sure I understood wha...t would happen in Court during each appearance. Mr. Glassman believed in my innocence, gathered all of the evidence I had, and prepared me for Trial in both my Criminal Case & Restraining Order Hearing. He responded to every email and made himself available to discuss the case in person. My matters were listed on numerous dates, Mr. Glassman was there right next to me at each Court appearance. He brought the evidence to the DA, meet repeatedly with them and fought hard to have the charges DISMISSED. At my last appearance in both my Criminal Case & Restraining Order Hearing, Mr. Glassman was able to get every charge against me dropped. He is a very tough criminal lawyer and defended me every step of the way. I was fortunate to have him by my side. E.D. Phila. PA.

THE BEST. PERIOD.

Mr. Glassman winning my case gave me my life back. After almost a year of constant worry and uncertainty, I was cleared of all the serious charges (one of them including aggravated assault) against me thanks to him working tirelessly to prove my innocence. He was there explaining the entire process e...very step of the way and not only made sure I understood every bit of it, but was always available to meet if I had any further questions or concerns. His thorough and hands-on work never disappointed and you get exactly what he says he's going to do. He's a no-BS attorney who gets results and I highly recommend his services. Thank you David.
