Barry A Stein

I'm a registered patent attorney, whose practice comprises all aspects of intellectual property law, including analyzing, procuring, challenging and enforcing patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets, providing strategic intellectual property counseling services and handling all types of transactional matters (e.g., licensing, joint ventures, engagement of consultants, etc.) involving intellectual property on behalf of individuals, small businesses, hospitals, research institutions and multinational corporations. My practice encompasses a wide variety of technologies, including those in the electronics, computer, security, communications, Internet, packaging, plastic wares, medical device and instrumentation fields. I am a graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and am a graduate of American University Washington College of Law. I was a Patent Examiner in the U.S.P.T.O and in-house patent counsel for General Electric Company before joint my present firm. Among my various awards and recognition are listing in Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, SuperLawyers and Martindale Hubbell (Av rating).
