OUTCOME: Verdict from Judge (non-jury ADR) confidential but twice what was offered and six figures.

Client stopped behind a pickup truck. Pickup backed up and crashed into client's car. Defendant admitted fault but claimed impact was not hard enough to injure my client. The claim was that impact j ... erked client forward from inertia of hit and caused a herniated disk in the lumbar spine. Client had surgery which did not entirely relieve his pain. Defendant's insurer would not offer satisfactory settlement.
