Thomas M Thistle III

Tom Thistle grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of LaSalle College High School and Gettysburg College. After working as a Certified Public Accountant for several years, he followed in the family tradition (third generation) and entered law school.  Tom graduated from the Villanova University School of Law in 1996 and joined with his uncle, Dan Thistle, Sr.  as a member of The Thistle Law Firm.

After joining the firm, Tom obtained a Master’s Degree in Trial Advocacy from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 2006 to better serve his clients. Tom, along with his cousin Dan Jr., learned valuable lessons practicing alongside Dan Sr., one of Philadelphia’s premier trial attorneys. Dan, Sr. advised us to always put his clients’ interests first, to work hard in order to get the best possible results for them, and to complete these tasks with honesty and integrity.

Tom and Dan Jr. always keep these principles in mind as they continued the Thistle Law Firm after Dan Sr's passing in 2012 of representing those who have suffered serious personal and economic losses due to medical malpractice, personal injury, or nursing home neglect.

Tom lives in Mullica Hill, NJ with his wife and three beautiful daughters.  Tom actively supports his community through his charitable work with the Knights of Columbus. Tom loves spending time with his family and attending his daughers extra curricular activities.  When not with family and friends, Tom can be found rooting for all of the Philadelphia sports teams or spending some beach time in Cape May, NJ.
