Sean Patrick McCusker

As the moderator addressed the crowd on the subject of divorce, he posed the question "How many of you like your divorce attorney??". Looking around, he decided to re-phrase the question. "Is there ANYONE here who likes their divorce attorney?? I raised my hand and addressed the group. "Well, I'm ...happy to say it was Sean McCusker who represented me in my divorce. Beyond all the obvious qualities we want in a divorce attorney, it was the presence of trust that set him apart from the rest. (After all, I was placing my future financial security in his hands!) Our journey together lasted 3.5 yrs. With Sean's continual and reliable communication, he set the groundwork for trust to flourish.. He explained the process along the way and when questions came up and Sean was unavailable, he always returned the call. Sean's knowledge of the law was challenged and he made the tough decisions on when it was important to compromise and when to hold our ground, always reminding me of our goal. Sometimes, when our ideas went in different directions, Sean consulted with fellow attorneys for another perspective. Thru it all, it always came back to trust. Trust, and one other important quality that I came to admire most. It's a quality that goes hand in hand with trust - Sean's commitment to a strong ethical standard. It's what guided him in every situation that arose and every decision that was made. It always made me proud. My journey is now over and I can't say enough about this individual. I will always feel fortunate to have gone down this difficult road with someone who I not only consider to be a great attorney, but someone, who in the end, I am happy to call a friend.
