Michael Angelo Petrizzo Jr.

I bring nearly 30 years of experience to my work guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and corporate formations, reorganizations and restructurings. Public and private companies, private equity and venture capital firms, and high-net-worth individuals rely on me to provide strategic advice in these and other key deals, as well in general corporate and commercial matters affecting their daily operations. Some of my specific experience includes advising on IPOs, as well as both M&A deals and capital-raising market transactions involving assets and equity, and joint ventures. I also represent companies that are selling or purchasing assets as part of a bankruptcy proceeding (363 transactions).

I advise a broad range of industries, including financial services, health care, retail, construction, insurance, manufacturing and technology in these complex commercial transactions. I also serve as outside corporate counsel for early-stage and established enterprises.

I hold a B.S. in business from the State University of New York at Buffalo, a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, an LL.M. in tax from New York University School of Law and a M.B.A. in finance and marketing from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
