I don't know the facts, but typically an affidavit is not enough because the authenticity is easily questioned by a Judge.

The fact that you are struggling with that tells me you should probably have counsel assist you. Appellate procedure can be very complicated.

The issue is the age of the defendant. 16 or 17 is very borderline. 16 is pretty young and this can create issues with trying someone as an adult.

I do not see any authority to do this and find it improper. However, I do not see any remedy in this case, unless evidence was seized from the house.

No. After a number of years, you may be able to look into a pardon to remove this from your record. Otherwise this will remain on your record...
