In 2018 I was made aware that I was under IRS-CI investigation for unreported cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) income I earned in 2013-2015. Up until recently, I was a successful attorney with more than 30 years of experience. Last year, upon learning of the federal mail fraud charges that had been filed against me, one of the first things I needed to do was to hire a lawyer to defend me.
