Peter and Nicole are a pleasure to speak with. Kind and very Down to Earth. I had the honor of hiring Peter for a difficult divorce issue i was going through. After hearing the issue and my case, Peter assured me no worries ill take care of it and as sure as im sitting here 3 weeks later final decree... was issued and no longer married to a difficult person. Thanks to Peter Manaras for his timely responses and professionalism. Would most def use this firm again for any other legal issues that may occur. In May 2009 Pete Manaras was retained to represent my daughter in a divorce case. We paid him, in advance, the $3,000.00 retainer fee he required. At the initial meeting with Mr. Manaras, he promised to provide energetic and aggessive representation for our daughter. He also promised to be avail...able for inquiries or consultation at all times. There is a record of more than ten written communications to Mr. Manaras between 05/30/2009 and 10/07/2009 which have never been acknowledged by Mr. Manaras. Numerous telephone calls were made to his office during that period of time without a single return phone call. Even the letter of 10/07/2009 which informed him of his termination as our daughter's legal representative was not acknowledged. My letter of 11/30/2010 to Pete Manaras asked for an accounting of how the retainer fee was used on behalf of my daughter's legal representation. No such accounting was offered by Mr. Manaras. His only response to that request was "Do not contact this office again." As I see it, a licensed professional in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania accepted cash payment for services that were never delivered and then refused to even discuss the matter. If there is another reasonable view, I would like to hear it.
