Defendant made an unprotected left-turn at an intersection and was struck by Plaintiff's vehicle in McKinney, Texas. Plaintiff sued for past and future medical expenses, as well as, past physical pain ... and anguish, future physical pain and anguish, past physical impairment, and future physical impairment. Plaintiff demanded $65,000, but the jury found Plaintiff to be 50% negligent and only awarded half of Plaintiff's $1,325 in past medical expenses.
