Herman Joseph Weinrich

Herman J. Weinrich, a partner at Timoney Knox, has been with the firm since 1985. Mr. Weinrich’s practice focuses on personal injury and commercial litigation. He handles a variety of cases including negligence, product liability, construction contract disputes, real estate matters and all types of insurance coverage, bad faith and insurance defense matters. He also has extensive experience representing defendants in criminal matters including DUI, license suspensions and cases in the juvenile justice system. He also represents individuals in connection with Social Security claims.

Mr. Weinrich earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and a law degree from Dickinson School of Law. At Dickinson, he received an American Bar Association award for scholastic achievement and graduated cum laude. During law school, he worked for the Dauphin County Public Defender’s office and was editor of the school’s newspaper, Res Ipsa Loquitur. He is a member of Dickinson’s law honor society.

For many years, Mr. Weinrich has volunteered his time to the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, a nonprofit organization which provides financial assistance for the uninsured needs of families with chronically and terminally ill children. For over a decade he has been involved and served in several capacities including President of the Board, Executive Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, a member of the Governing Board, and Chairman of the Governance Committee. During his tenure as President, the organization earned the Eastern College Award for excellence in operating a nonprofit organization and, under his leadership, the Fund received the Glaxo-Smith Kline International Impact Award. Recently, Mr. Weinrich was among 27 Philadelphia area business leaders who received philanthropic awards sponsored by Executive Leaders Radio and the Entrepreneurs Forum of Greater Philadelphia, having been nominated for the award by the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund in recognition for his contribution and dedication to the organization.

Mr. Weinrich has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 2011-2014.
