Finn L Skovdal

Finn Skovdal’s career in criminal law began in law school at Duquesne University, where he interned in the Homicide Unit, represented the Commonwealth as a Certified Legal Intern in bench trials, and contributed articles to the Duquesne Law Review and Criminal Law Blog. After graduation he spent six years as a prosecutor in the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, managing thousands of cases and honing his courtroom craft through countless trials and hearings. His work in the Violent Crimes and Firearms Unit exposed him to complex prosecutions—aggravated assaults, firearm violations, and homicides—and deepened his trial experience. A member of the BLSA Trial Advocacy Team, he helped secure a regional Thurgood Marshall Moot Court title. Today Finn applies that trial-tested experience to criminal defense, committed to ensuring that every person in the justice system is heard and vigorously represented.
