In 2011 I was looking for an attorney to assist me with obtaining access to my daughters court blocked trust account to pay back taxes. Her father died in 2005 at an establishment and her paternal grandfather filed a wrongful death suit and she was awarded funds; however, her grandfather never told m...e of these funds and my daughter was contacted by the IRS stating there were accounts earning interest and taxes needed to be paid (my daughters grandfather was resistant to providing me with any information about these accounts). I initially contacted another attorney but he was not able to assist me with this matter and he provided me with Ms. Carol Weinman's telephone number and email. From the first day I contacted her I was very impressed with her care and concern for this matter. It took a few years to get the matter resolved due to the laws surrounding minors and court blocked accounts but Ms. Weinman was successful in doing so!!! I was awarded a court order allowing me to withdraw funds from the accounts to pay my daughters back taxes and I now receive all correspondence regarding the accounts as well!!!! With regards to her fees, I found Ms. Weinman's fees to be reasonable and she worked with me and was able to set up payment plans (not sure if any attorneys these days do this).
