This was a Stepparent Adoption case that I handled that involved a trial on a contested termination. This was a case in which I was able to utilize the Discovery process (specifically Requests for Adm ... issions) to establish a necessary evidentiary foundation for the case. This case demonstrated how the Discovery process can be so vital to winning at trial. Many times, what occurs outside of court in preparing for trial is just as important as what takes place inside Court.
