Peter J. Smith

Peter Smith is a partner of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, and leads the Business & Finance and Real Estate practice groups. Peter is a business lawyer and trusted partner to his corporate clients. He has been solving problems and adding value for business owners for over 30 years. Peter’s practice focuses on corporate law, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, contracts, commercial finance, business disputes, non-profit organizations, real estate, and trusts and estates. He counsels businesses involved in manufacturing, distribution, marketing, retail, hospitality, e-commerce, technology, health care, pharmaceutical research, consulting, professional services, real estate and construction. In addition, Peter has experience with start-up ventures, family-owned businesses, limited liability companies and 501(c)(3) public charities. He also represents individuals and families in estate and business succession planning.

Peter graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law, and magna cum laude from Temple University with a degree in psychology. He has interned for two federal judges; the Honorable Herbert Hutton in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Joseph Rodriguez in the United States District Court in Camden, New Jersey.

In addition to his legal practice, Peter regularly writes and speaks on business related topics, teaches continuing legal education courses to other lawyers, and is active in his community and church in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
