Does having a record hurt your workers comp claim. Even if it happened 12 years ago. The conviction was 12 years ago.

It shouldn't. But you should tell your lawyer in case it comes up so s/he can be prepared to deal with it.

You can always dispute the amount. I would suggest you retain an attorney to help you. Chances are you will get a better settlement with a good WC...

If you are injured at work, you cannot sue per se. What you can do is go through the workers' compensation system to get the treatment and benefits...
