After recurrent and lengthy struggles with our district related to special education, upon coming across crucial correspondence that substantiated my Child Find complaint, and contacting Dan after other lawyer consults were less concerned given the two year statute of limitations despite the fact we ...met the exception, he took on the case and this led us to a settlement with the district. Dan was prompt in responding to any questions or concerns I had and dealt with the district in a very matter of fact, no nonsense manner. Unfortunately can't undo years of neglect, but there are at least resources to help us regain lost ground. I would highly recommend Dan Cooper to anyone in need. Definite bonus that it was of no cost to me, as this also would have been a major barrier. Most attorneys want a fee in advance for representation. Even though the parents can be reimbursed for a case that is won as the district can be held responsible for the attorney fees. we don't all have the money needed for representation up front and that was not an issue the way Dan operates.
