Joseph Benjamin Silver

Joseph Silver focuses his practice on Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation and Employment law. He represents individuals before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Disability Law Committee. He is also a member of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and is on the Board of Directors of the Ardmore Initiative.

Mr. Silver received both his Juris Doctorate (2013) and Masters Degree in Media Studies (2013) from Duke University and a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Amherst College (2008), where he studied literature and music. In law school, Mr. Silver worked with Duke’s Veteran’s Disability Law Project and the school’s AIDS Legal Assistance Project, where he helped disabled individuals with Social Security Disability and Veterans Disability benefits applications. He was also an active member of the Duke Law Intellectual Property and Cyberlaw Society and concentrated in technology, intellectual property, and cyber surveillance law and policy.
