Client was falsely accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor

My client who will remain anonymous was falsely accused of inappropriately touching a minor. He was indicted by the Montgomery County State's attorney's Office for the Charge of Sexual Abuse of a Mino ... r which carries a maximum penalty of 25 Years. Not only was my client facing 25 years, he was also facing deportation. To make matters worse he has 4 children under 5 years old, including 2 year old twins. We pled Not Guilty and had a Jury Trial in the Montgomery County Circuit Court. After an almost one week battle in court, the Jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty. My client was able to walk out of that courtroom that day and return to his family. It was the happiest day of his life and a very satisfying day for me. To this day, my client still keeps in touch with me and lets me know how he is doing.
