Excellent Divorce and Custody Lawyer who protects your rights as a parent Bucks County Pennsylvania

Divorce and custody are the most debilitating events I have experienced in my life. Normally a successful take charge kind of guy I found I could do nothing right in my attempt to negotiate with my now ex-spouse. I needed someone to not only protect me but actually fight for me and my family. I can s...tate unequivocally Nancy Larkin Taylor did just that. Admittedly it was a protracted and nasty process due to the other side's unwillingness to compromise on any point. There was not even the least acknowledgment that I had a role in co-parenting. My rights as a parent and active participant in our children's lives were challenged on every front. Although the hearings were insisted by my ex-spouse it became clear that it was fortunate and necessary to go to trial as this was the only way to a resolution. Nancy was always on top of the information required. Ms. Taylor kept me informed immediately and explained what was going. Nancy protected me from making mistakes and set expectations staying with what pertain to law not my emotions. Despite confronting an opposing team of lawyers Ms. Taylor was unflappable and took control. Every time we were brought to court we achieved the goals we had set and then some. Ms. Taylor's presentation of facts and focusing on the applicable laws always prevailed. Further Ms. Taylor used time economically where I could have spent untold hours bemoaning my situation or on frivolous motions. Ms Taylor has helped me secure a safe and reasonable custody order that will promote co-parenting and what is in best interest our children. Ms Taylor stood and fought for me when I was in the worst shape of my life and could not stand up for myself. Although I realize it does not promise a working relationship with my ex-spouse Ms Taylor won a solid agreement and protections to that end. I cannot thank Ms. Taylor enough. I can finally with confidence get on to the business of my family and my life. Now I have a co-parenting arrangement that provides safeguards against misbehavior and actions that are detrimental to our children. Going to court was not my choice or desire but became necessary for a resolution. Ms. Taylor ensured my side was clearly heard and won results better than I could have hoped. I give Nancy Larkin Taylor my highest recommendation for protecting my rights as a father and winning a custody agreement above my best expectations that will be inclusive and in the best interest of our children.

An Exceptional Lawyer

I just went through a child custody case with Nancy and she was exceptional. She was very knowledgable of the laws and very upfront with me about what to expect. Whenever I had a question about something she always got back to me within twenty four hours, which isn't common with most lawyers. She mai...led or e-mailed a copy of every form that was filed in the court or sent to the other attorney so I could review it. She also went over every document with me to make sure I understood what I was agreeing to before I signed anything. I feel if it wasn't for her persistence with the other lawyer I would still be waiting to have custody of my daughter. The other lawyer was constantly asking for continuances. When we did go to court, Mrs. Taylor conducted herself in a very professional manner with not only the judge but also the other lawyer. I think very highly of her and her work and would definitely reccommend her to anyone fighting for their children.

Outstanding work

Ms. Taylor represented me in my divorce and I am quite satisfied. Even though it was my wife who filed it was Ms. Taylor that made everything happen; without her efforts I think I would still be waiting for my ex's lawyer to make a move. We made a number of generous offers before Ms. Taylor petitio...ned for a property settlement hearing:the divorce master was very sympathetic to us and recognized that my ex was the non-moving party. The property settlement was better for me than the offers that I had made and I am now divorced and free. She consistently and dependably answered my emails and phone calls, gave me good advice and didn't waste my time. Nancy has a pleasant personality and made a very difficult situation easier by giving me the perspective that marriage is just a contract and so I was able to approach it as just business. I would recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.

The Worst Lawyer Ever

Nancy Larkin Taylor is the worst lawyer I have ever worked with. She is incompetent, inept, contentious and downright unprofessional. I had one experience with her when she was in a courtroom acting like a 5-year old – literally yelling at the opposing counsel "na, na, na, na" like she was in Kinderg...arten. It was absolutely embarrassing. I only wish I had read other reviews about her before I hired her, or I never would have done it. I think the worst thing is that she has no idea what it means to compromise, and wants to take everything in front of a judge. She claims to try and work things out without litigation, but actually seems to want to make situations worse so that she can pump up her billing. It's disgusting. The more I've worked with her, the more I realize that she does not know what she's doing. She's pissed off judges and actually made my situation WORSE than if I had no attorney at all. And I also feel as though she's got a chip on her shoulder about men – she seems to dislike them for some reason, and tend to side with the woman in any situation. This is not only unprofessional, but downright unethical. She should be disbarred. Do not hire her, you'll be so sorry! If I could give her ZERO STARS I would, but this rating system won't allow it.

do not hire her

I hired her to represent me in a civil case before a magistrate. She showed up for the first part of the hearing, sat there looking bored, objected 3x, overruled 2x. Date set for the rest of the hearing and she asked for a postponement. Granted. The date for the hearing was set again and AGAIN she as...ked for a postponement. This time it was "no". The hearing was set for a Monday and I had not heard from her by the preceeding Friday so I called her office. I said I will see you Monday and she said "no you won't".No reason, just that statement. I was shocked. Had I not called her on Friday, I would have had no idea that she blew me off. We had subpoened a witness and I counted on him to show up; but he did not either. I lost, of course. I had no idea what to do and the magistrate ruled in her favor. She then had the nerve to send me a BILL
